In addition to this website, we list The Camano House on various vacation rental listing sites.  I just entered guest comments from our guest book into those sites, and thought rather than reenter all the comments here, that I'd give a summary about what people have been saying the past few months:
  • Beautiful home, fabulous amenities, comfy beds, first class, gorgeous decor
  • Amazing view - Port Susan Bay, Mount Baker, Eagles eagles eagles
  • Best kitchen ever seen in a vacation rental

Make The Camano House a part of your holiday tradition- the beach for the holidays. We have the middle section of the month available and are offering a fifth night free when you book four nights for stay between December 8th and December 26th.Joy to You!

Love Our Visitors!

I was just looking over our guest list for 2013 so far and thought it was awesome.  So far this year, we've had guests from WA, TX, NM, OH, CO, UT, PA, VA, CA, CT, IA, British Columbia Canada, and China.  I'm sure I am missing some, but others from prior years, include OR, MI, TN, NC, ND, MA, and Australia.  We love being able to host guests from near and far.  :-)

New Diswasher! :-)

New Dishwasher!!
That's all the excitement, lol.  :-)  Our dishwasher apparently decided that it had had enough.  Now there's a brand new dishwasher to go in our gourmet chef's kitchen.  We are fairly booked up for the summer, but there are a few little spots available, and the fall is always beautiful up there.

More Views!

We recently purchased the land next to our house, which will ensure the woods remain next to our house, and therefore the serenety, beauty and privacy that the land provides to the beach house.  And, we recently cleared the area near the waterfront and added additional adirondack chair beach view seating.  More beauty to enjoy for our guests!  Enjoy!

Cama Beach Cafe

A great cappucino with breakfast this morning at the Cama Beach Cafe.

Spring at The Camano House

So excited for spring on Camano Island.  We have actually reserved a little time at the house for ourselves.  We're going to hang out at the house, cook some fabulous meals, and of course count the bald eagles and great blue herons, and do lots of beach walks.  It's the time of year where the grey whales come through the bay, and we've seen them from the house in prior years, and I sure hope we see them this time.  We're also going to go zip lining, go to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, and go to Thai Jasmine in Stanwood for my daughter's birthday and Cama Beach cafe for brunch.  We are filling up for spring and summer but do still have some spots available, so if you are looking for a fabulous get away, please contact us.  :-)

Camano Island Art Walk Studio Tour

Did you know that every Mothers' Day Weekend and weekend after, Camano Island hosts an Art Studio Tour?  There are about 40 studios that open up to the public and include all sorts of art - paintings, jewelry, blown glass, pottery, and more.  It is an incredibly fun event to take part in, one of our favorite things to do all year.  The Camano House is booked for Mothers' Day weekend (May 10th) but there is still availability for the following weekend.  Make it an annual tradition like we have.......

Winter at The Beach

Some people only think about the beach during the summer.  We think about it year round.  Friends are off skiing in the winter.  What are we doing?  Heading to Camano Island.  Going on beach walks, kayaking, building forts, searching for shells, watching the eagles in and around our eagle tree, cooking fabulous meals, enjoying the view, having family game night, photgraphing amazing sunrises.  We never want to leave, but alas we need to.  Come check out the Camano House and see how fun the beach can be in winter!

The Camano House is blogging!

Although we've been renting our Camano Island vacation home as a vacation rental for three years (wow, how time flies!), we are just now starting to blog about it!  We have a lot of photos, stories, and reviews to share.  We'll post things that have happened over the past three years and things yet to come.  Thank you to all of our prior customers and future customers - we hope that you love The Camano House and Camano Island as much as we do.  :-)
